hi there everyone.
i dont know if anyone has heard, but Pine Rivers special school was flooded a week or two ago from a storm that we had and due to that storm, the school had lost all of its carpets and computers resulting in all the money that they had saved up to be used and clean up the mess and leaving the kids who attend there with nothing to do and use, no pencils, no paper, nothing at all.
i thought as a nice thing to help out, im currently working as a storeperson in the brisbane city at a school art supplies company, and what a better way to help out then ask my boss if they would be generous to donate some stuff for the children to use to help them get back on track and give the children something to do and make them happy.
well i asked on thursday last week if we could do it, but i had to wait until today for the warehouse boss to come back after the week off, so i asked while on my lunch break today, explained what happened and happily enough my boss said that he would be more than happy to give the school some materials for the children.
now to me, that is what i think is a nice gesture and a very good thing to do to help out the community and less fortunate in the time of situations that we cant control. thanks to my boss.

Yeah good on you Repo.
Its nice to see businesses in a position to help out those less fortunate than themselves do so. I’m sure the kids at the school appreciate it too – then again maybe they got out of work for a few days…
