Where all the cool wheelchair people hang out
Home › Forum › Disability Services › Personals & Wheelchair Dating › Paraplegic athlete looking for like-minded company.
Hello everyone.
I’m a 32 year old male and a wheelchair athlete living in Finland. Since our winters are so long and dark and I risk constant danger of being eaten alive by polar bears whenever I go out, I’ve found it pretty difficult to find and meet female wheelchair users whom have some similar interests as I do. I compete in wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby. I’m also very entertained by lifting weights and thinking about quantum gravity and the holographic principle. I’m pursing an academic career and I love to travel around the world. I enjoy conversations and meeting new people, but alas.. the wheelchair scene is very small here where I live.
So, if you’re a fun-loving girl somewhere around 18 to 35, make contact and we’ll see what happens. You don’t have to be a physicist, but be forewarned that I can be quite the nerd at times. I hope you’re active and independent. Cuteness helps also, but I can’t ask too much with this face. It doesn’t really matter where you’re from – I’m looking to make new friends and I’d love to chat with YOU.
Maybe.
