Perfect Imperfect

Highly respected German photographer Rasso Bruckert frustrated with “hospital” type images of the disabled celebrates disability through his camera lens. A collection of his raw powerful images appeared in a gallery titled “Perfect/Imperfect” inviting us to challenge the way we think about beauty and disability.

Access Sex

Photographer Sarah Murray and fellow Canadian artist Kyla Harris collaborate in the project Access Sex to present sexuality and physical disability together, encouraging the audience to look beyond the confines of the human body. For centuries the arts and media have failed to portray disability and wheelchair users in a positive sexual light. Access Sex aims to revolutionize that.
