Ergonomics: How it affects the wheelchair user

The word ergonomics comes from the Greek word ..ergo=work. It became more popular during the electronics age and the correct usage of “design’ to maximize productivity and shield injury. Thus the same holds true for wheelchair users. Engineers and Architect plan all curb-cuts,doorways and many products with ergonomics as their guide. Depending on local building codes and availability, many floor plans(residency) are used for wheelchair users every day.
