I am a girlfriend of a quad (C6/7) in Western Australia. I need some help and advice about getting out and about and doing stuff. In particular I am keen on getting my man off on a holiday or two. We are managing a long weekend away soon, this is to a locally funded house in a city about2hrs away. My wonderlust wants to take us further afield.
I am frustrated at not being able to find info on places to stay, that can cope with us and our requirements (it all seems to come down to bathroom access and stairs). Are there websites that can help? Has anyone got comments on places? Things to do? Cruises? Even air travel? Are there charter companies that can get wheelies on deck for fishing or cruising?
This is a really big thing for my partner as he has not been outside his local community since his accident 25yrs ago. Starting close to home is good for him to build confidence and know that we can do things.
