Another thing to consider is bandwidth.

Fantastic eye candy but if the people putting images up aren’t capable of or don’t bother reducing file size for the web it can use alot of resources. Not to mention very slow page load for dial up users.

Having said that. Spinal Tap has a 45 gig/month transfer allowance which is heaps enough to include images at the moment. Work commenced.

UPDATE:

We are having trouble finding one small problem with the attachment mod.
It will take longer to fix than expected.

Meanwhile you can use the Img tag at the top off your Post Message screen and link to the image if it’s on the web. PM me if you need an image put up on the web.

It works like this:

Take your image URL address eg:
http://www.streetsie.com/forum/templates/Solaris/images/forumlogo.jpg
And type [img]before%20it%20and[/img] after it. Preview before you submit.

Registered members can now post attachments within their posts and in private messages. Attachments are only visible to registered members.

Currently just about any file type up to 1 MB in size may be attached.

It’s a good idea just sexpistol77 beat you to it.
That’s why we set up the attachments feature so you can easily add images etc to your posts. Only registered members can see attachments.
