I’m using your avatar as an example Cat.
Right click image> Properties> Highlight URL> Right click URL> Copy.
In your post here – just right click> Paste> Highlight> Click “Img” button above. You should see in the case of your avatar – http://www.streetsie.com/forum/images/avatars/722012238404904e6e42e5.gif With tags you get …
Use “Preview” to test.
Note: Hotlinking without permission to images hosted on other websites may be in breach of copyright law and may get deleted from this forum. Large images ‘breaking’ the forum may also be deleted.
If I use google search > images> horses am I going to breach copy right I mean they are in google search for all to use I thought, where can i get an image to practise on besides my avatar that iam not going to cause copyright problems
As soon as a “work” is created the creator holds copyright. That said. Anyone who puts images up on the web knows they can be taken used and possibly abused. Google compiles image galleries straight from websites, unless the webmaster has blocked spiders and bots from image indexing their website.
For personal use most won’t worry if you use their pic. Just remember they hold copyright and a request to remove/delete will be honoured here. Common sense is needed. If you feel it necessary, seek permision from the copyright holder to use their “work”.
