Where all the cool wheelchair people hang out

The old Lang Park. Recently visited the new Suncorp Stadium I was concerned at the hype to catch public transport. That’s not always a good option for a quadriplegic as people fall on me. They see a gap in the crowd and all push towards me. So we drove in.
Well I was impressed. They even had separate red and blue sticker zones with rent-a-cops on every corner pointing the way. We parked only 200 meters from our seats. Even though accidentally put in the red zone as told by the cop who yelled at my friend, “Hey, don’t piss on that wall mate!, there’s a dunny around the corner.” The blue zone is even closer.
The seven of us even sat together behind the goal posts two with me, the other four in front of us. A burger was $6.50 and a pie $3.50 but we weren’t there to eat. Just drink and cheer. It still has the atmosphere of the old cauldron. It’s like you’re sitting right on top of them. When the crowd erupts it’s deafening. That wasn’t enough to get the Broncos home though. Beaten by the Dragons in the dying minutes, and man did I cop it all the way home from my 6 Dragon supporting mates.
Go down Castlemaine St. off Milton Rd. and you’re right there. Go early.
