I am new to this site so this is my first post. Firstly I am finding the site really informative, there isn’t much out there and just reading through it has been helpful already, so thank you everyone.
Due to an atonic bladder, I have had a suprapubic catheter for about 6 months, all going ok except I still need to pee myself in the usual way in between emptying the bag? Should ALL the pee be going into the bag? I have been using a belly bag and changed to a leg bag to see if that made a difference, but unfortunately it hasn’t. Its always very urgent but then I only pass around 100ml and if I ignore it, I have an accident. Hard to believe that my bladder had a 3000ml capacity before the surgery.
If anyone can help, your imput would be gratefully appreciated and thank you again.
