Sure most of the staff are great. From the cleaners to the surgeons. I’ve known and know some dynamite nurses and that sexy little uniform Grrr Baby Yeah!!. There’s always a few bad ones in a crowd that spoil it – a male nurse stole $200 off me once and a doctor has sent me home with a pulmonary embolisim misdiagnosed as pluracy. What an idiot, that could have killed me, was back in hospital 3 months later.
True: we seem to be following one country or another. At least in NZ quadriplegics aren’t allowed to leave until they have a wheelchair and carer support in place. Usualy government funded. But their waiting lists for elective surgery combined with GST is why 1 in 5 living in Brisbane are Kiwi’s.
Don’t even get me started on Australia’s PBS blunder.. “Hey we have a world model Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, let’s see if we can fix it” Duh.
