    I think he should come over the Australia, Hervey Bay to be precise and I’ll be his tour guide, I have a great little 12ft tinny that he might like a ride in – to shark infested Fraser Island waters, hehe.

    Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease is hereditary and is marked by slowly progressive muscle weakness in the feet, lower legs, hands, and forearms, and a mild loss of sensation in the toes, feet and fingers. The weakness results from the degeneration of nerves that stimulate muscle rather than from a degenerative process in the muscle tissues themselves.

    It was first identified it in 1886 so isnt ‘new’ as such.

    Early symptoms are usually foot deformaties (high arching and flexed toes) – there is no known cure at this stage, however research is being undertaken.
