Good luck with your new business –

I would like to see more cards that are blank inside, you know the ones with a nice picture on the front and you can put your own words to it. They can be used for so many occasions.

      Good Luck Tiger

Iam hopeless at verses in cards but sometimes like to write it myself, so a choice of verses would be great that you can add too

Humor is great in a card. My fav is “I spent ages looking for the perfect card for you, then I thought” (on the inside reads) “Fuck it, this one will do”.

Price is a determining factor for me, but I’m a tight arse.. If a card is going to cost 10 bucks the I’d rather get them a scratchie. Unless it’s a sympathy card or something. Hehe.. Imagine rockin’ up to a funeral handing the widow a 10 buck scratchie saying, “hey I hope you have better luck”.

Oh thats terrible Graybags! And you a tight arse??? No !!!!!!

I agree, cards can be very expensive and some people I know just throw them away – I personally like to keep cards if they mean something or from someone special. I have a special little shoebox for them (the cards).

I have kept all my kids b/cards and have written in their baby books all the b/day and xmas pressies they have received its nice to go back and look at them and my mum did the same thing for us kids. to look over them and see the diff in the styles of cards is amazing. The special ones are the ones from loved ones that are no longer here, it makes you feel closer to them to know you have their love written in a card. For me I basicaly only keep cards that my kids have made for me now, they are also special, and once they grow up they dont take the time to hand make any so they are all the more special

I feel bad when I throw a card in the trash. You know that guilt thing. Perhaps a card with a note on the back “It’s ok, you can throw this out. It will be recycled and make someone else happy to.”

Thanks a lot everyone lots of food for thought and graybags we promise to keep the price under 10bucks (just for you) lol. keeping this in mind we recognise both sentimental reasons for keeping cards. I do as well I have cards dating back from when I was a child and we are wholly in agreement with recycling old cards give us so many ideas. Cheers all

remember keep smiling it takes less muscles to smile than frown.
