      Hi all,
I hope I am posting in the right place as a newbie.
My husband has MS and has been in hospital for the past 2 weeks recovering from a UTI. Together we use intermittent catheters but although sterile as we can be he has reoccurring uti’s. He was on long term antiobiotics but doctors at the hospital said to stop this as it is causing resistence to the different antibiotics. He has been advised to have a suprapubic catheter which will be performed in a months time.

Are these less likely to have infections I do read a lot of information for and against especially mentioning blockages.

I would really like your opinion for hubby.

      Thanks

      Lush
