Where all the cool wheelchair people hang out

According to the NKBA, most accidents,in a house, occurs in the bathroom and kitchen. Being a licensed contractor and now wheelchair bound, has changed my perspectives of the SAFEGUARDS needed. Bathroom remodeling has become an ‘open’ area, which enables SAFE usage while maintaining resale value. Open sinks, roll-in showers, raised toilets, they are ALL designed with the disabled person in mind. Lets talk for a moment, about the kitchen, it is probably the most expensive rooms in the house to remodel. Here again, MANY options. Find a good contractor with experience in this area. He should be able to give you ideas and at the same time understand the asthetics involved. REMEMBER,,you are concerned about SAFETY and some re-sale value.
If you have questions or concerns,,p.m. me, BE SAFE
