Where all the cool wheelchair people hang out

Hi guys. I’ve been getting to know a c5-6(I think) incomplete quad since st. Patrick’s day. We are getting so close now an definitely moving towards being in an intimate relationship. I am more concerned of our age difference (he is 17 years older than I) than I am of his “disability.” my question isn’t about sex or embarrassment I want to discover everything about him on my own. I feel like I am up against SUCH a struggle with asking my family to accept this relationship. We are not there yet but I anticipate getting there. I would like to think that all the world has their hearts and minds open but people are intimidated by what they don’t understand. I am concerned about how to approach this subject. I guess that this is more of a socialism question than disability. I was wondering if anyone would be able to guide me in any sort of way to make all parties as comfortable as possible. On a side note their possible disapproval is meaningless to me and would not influence whether or not I peruse him. He’s fucked. Gonna have to beat me off with a bat.
