I am a writer looking for help with a book. I stumbled onto this site 4 hours ago and since then I’ve been reading as fast as I can. While the articles and responses are helpful, I need to dig deeper into the feelings, emotions and issues facing a quadriplegic/paraplegic and their partner. I’m particularly interested in the relationship, and both partners point of view. I will be asking some of you to reveal your deepest, darkest thoughts and emotions. You can always say no to any question, but the more open and honest you are with me, the better I can portray my characters. Please consider this before responding. I am also looking for people who would be willing to discuss all aspects of quad/paraplegia, everything from sex to taking out the trash. Someone who wouldn’t mind answering general questions and pointing out things that able bodied people wouldn’t understand. This can be a one time interview, or on a ongoing basis until I finish.

Your name will not be mentioned in the book. (Unless you allow me to credit you in the acknowledgments)
This will be a work of fiction. The characters will be a composite of the information I gather.
I will protect your privacy, and gain permission before I put anything into print that could be revealing.
This book may contain strong adult themes and language.
