I just found out that my Boyfriend suffers from Piles every now and then,It has gotten to the point that hes been bleeding a lot during bowel movements that its making him dizzy and shaky for the best part of the day.He says its very painful and for a person with a T6 injury am really worried, He hates hospitals which rules out going to see a doctor and hes on painkillers. He has been in a wheel chair for about 20 yrs and very independent i don’t have to do anything for him but to scrub his back during shower time.He says that he started getting piles one year into the chair.
My questions are:
Has this happened to anyone else out there?
How have you guys been able to deal with this in the past?
Are there any preventive measures we should try?
I hope am clear enough, my boyfriend never really complains and him bringing this up is getting me a bit worried since am not with him at the moment. I will appreciate any advise i can get.
Best Regards,
