I am doing a favour for a friend and reupdating the menu for her new coffee shop. I have it all done except I need to know how to set the margins for printing, I thought I had it right but the second column on the right hand side of the menu is out of the printing margin it prints but is too far to the right how do i set the margins for printing. I think the problem is in the printer not word. Anyone have any ideas, it just gets sent to the printer not the print set up first.
Are you using Word?.
Yes Microsoft Word
First maka a copy to play with.
See the horizontal ruler ? click hold drag> the handles wider.
Or File> Page setup> tick mirror margins and adjust the margins.
Use Print preview to save paper.
I had the same problem when trying to do borders around a resume.
Tried the borders on format etc. but kept getting the same message, or only 3 borders would show up.
Tried the paste and copy as recommended still didnt work, so gave up and sent resume without borders.
I would be interested in how to work this also.
I will try it graybags but in the print preview all is where it should be. the margins are perfect so thats why i thought it may be from word to the printer somewhere
Hmm I’ve neer had trouble adjusting Word tables and margins to get them to print. Like I said adjust them, to zero even, and away she goes. But I can’t re-test cause I need a new printer. Good Luck Girls.
