Just thought I’d throw a quick hello out to everyone.

My name is Kane and I’m 22

I’m not personally disabled but my best friends partner is so I’m used to “living with disability” we also have an autistic 11 year old boy.

My friends registered over here to share her opinions and I thought I’d do the same and join her. So, short and sweat, hello!

I should stress that we (Myself, Best Friend, her Disabled Partner) are of a mind that life is what you make it, there is a funny side to literally anything including a broken neck (as the resident afore mentioned disabled partner has). We frequently make jokes about him getting off his lazy arse and such or moan about over subscribed parking for blue space hoppers. If any of that sort of talk should spill onto the forums now and then from any of us I beg of you all not to take it personally and if anything, join in. Don’t be sat living in a bubble of misery.
