InactiveMotorbikes… mmmmmm
220kph on the back wheel
185 on the front wheel
190 on no wheels… just the arse of my leathers… ouch!
Much older and wiser and less bolder now – max out at about 220 on both wheels of the beveldrive Ducati.

MemberIf ya gonna ride a bike, ride a real one not a Harley. They dont go fast enough, they “put put ” along in cruise. Get on a big red Ducati or Guzzi, one that roars and has attitude. You need to feel the freedom of the wind going right through you, need to feel the peg scrap as you go around that left hand corner.

MemberAh yes…. Mish Mash appreciates the Italian twins.
Have a look at my Hobbies link at http://members.dodo.net.au/~getakat/index.htm
while you’re there, check out the aviation link and the sukhoi stunt pictures I took! Talk about attitude and feeling the wind in your hair!!
If you want to talk about goin fast (and this is certainly not an airliner), check out the SR71 site at http://www.habu.org/
Truly an awesome machine! :!:

MemberAh yes the Kiwis finally did something noteworthy when the Britten hit Daytona. Nice bike and very quick, although shame that John Britten succumbed to cancer whilst he was so young….
Back to the Velocity…. had the mighty 650 Honda Dominator (big trail bike on steroids) up to 140 ….. on the gravel….. Nice!
In Germany, had the rental Ford Mondeo 2 litre petrol wagon up to 203km/h on the Autobahn (loaded with four big blokes and all their kit plus about 50 cans of beer)
