MemberYeah, there is a big difference between love and lust. Not necessarily a guy thing. A lot of people get high on that first meet syndrome, those butterflies in the pit of your stomach, then a couple of weeks later, it wears off, then they look for someone else.
Those moments in time, a real bumer sometimes when I dont go with those gut feelings. Thats why I have those gut instincts, my true self is telling me that this is real, this is what I want, but then the head gets in the way and stuffs it up. I know in my case, that comes down to the fear of rejection, or making a fool of myself, that I miss those opportunities.
I am more intune these days than as a teenager or younger person, so I always try to take the opportunity to let people know how I feel about them. (in a positive way). Ive missed too many opportunities.

MemberYes.. has happened to me..
If you are open enough to your gut feelings, you just know when you meet someone that there is a chemistry…I dont mean in the sexual sense, you know that there is just something. I do believe that real love has to grow over time.
My Mum knew she would marry my Dad the moment she saw him. The story goes she was sitting in a cafe with a girl friend and Dad walked in with his mates..He was in the army at the time. She said to her friend that she was going to marry him, he came over to the table and so it was. They were married for 40+ years before he died. I would say they have a good marriage and it was a loving relationship.

MemberWho are we to judge, cant rely on the press to get it right.
He made a error in judgement, he allowed the press in. Im sure he was well in control of the situation. All the ‘what ifs’ didnt happen.
Forgot to buckle up the kids, left them at home while we popped down the shop, left them in the car while we popped in the shop. All risks.
I know I have made plenty errors of judgement as a parent,. sometimes my kids probably thought they were in the croc pen. There are kids being abused, raped and beaten daily every day, they are the ones who the media could help.Mish Mash
